lyrics
The door's been shut, so useless again
You smile at me and grasp
Walking hands with my girl
She took my hand and held me in...
Meet me alive, kill me in time
just kiss my lips and I'll be fine
Eat myself, drink my wine
I'll kiss your lips – you'll be fine
Take me to the normal height
We're doing something usual
Meet me today, struggling kind
You touch your lips to mine.
As if I loved you only one time
You smile at me and grasp
my head recalls your daily turns
forgetting all the other interests
Meet me alive, kill me in time
just kiss my lips and I'll be fine
Eat myself, drink my wine
I'll kiss your lips – you'll be fine
Take me to the normal height
We're doing something usual
Meet me today, struggling kind
You touch your lips to mine.

This outing from G&P is as the title suggests; a slower, doom laden extravaganza. This show cases the evolution of a band experimenting and growing their sound. There are still the lavish 80ies Heavy Metal lead breaks but a Doomy stoner sound is taking a greater precedence. The sound is more polished than the previous EP and the vocal are reminiscent of Kayleth’s front man, Enrico Gastaldo. Brilliant stuff. Harry Harrison
