lyrics
I've signed my happy end,
started it up again.
New ways into heaven.
Suddenly will open.
I'm praising all the love
receivers in this world.
Integer fertile thoughts
will flow into my blood.
To the sticky upper-men
before their bloodshot eyes I will
transcend for them to say
„Farewell, oh happy day“
Inside the river, with the stream.
Always outside of the dream.
Noone knows yet where I am.
My nightmare's coming back again.
They're helping me, with what?
Grinding me through the mud.
They're looking through my eyes.
Until I'm overtimed.
To the sticky upper-men
before your bloodshot eyes I will
transcend for you to say
„Farewell, oh happy day“
Wow nightmare – you're lighting up my bed
Your noose is hanging on my head
I'm done, inside and outside
Your love just makes me sick
You're helping me, with what?
Grinding me into the mud
Horizon ends for me
second head is controlling me
To the big men in my beatin' head
To the big men in my beatin' head
To the big men in my beatin' head
To the big men in my beatin' head
These ratbastards kept it simple and friendly, playing blues and boogie for folks who just wanted to down their likker and smoke their bongs to the sound of some good-time rock’n’roll. Unlike, say, Sweet, the guys in Gods and Punks needn’t look back at old photos of themselves in glittering silver crotch-high platform boots and say, “What was I thinking? I look like a total git! This outing from G&P is as the title suggests; a slower, doom laden extravaganza. This show cases the evolution of a band experimenting and growing their sound. There are still the lavish 80ies Heavy Metal lead breaks but a Doomy stoner sound is taking a greater precedence. The sound is more polished than the previous EP and the vocal are reminiscent of Kayleth’s front man, Enrico Gastaldo. Brilliant stuff. Harry Harrison
